U.S. Department of Energy – Recruiting Computer Scientists

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science is recruiting computer science students for its internship programs at Oak Ridge National Lab, and federal laboratories throughout the nation.

We are excited to share with you a great opportunity for your students to learn more about the internships available through DOE! A virtual career fair is taking place on Nov. 28th from 12 noon – 4:00 pm EST.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Science is a vital agency for science and technology in the United States. DOE Office of Science is the largest supporter of research in the physical sciences and energy nationally, and manages ten national laboratories. These opportunities are a great way for students to gain valuable real-world experience and see what research is like at a national lab!

The link to the registration site is here—students may register up to the day of the event! Register for the Laboratory Internships Virtual Event today!

Please share this information with your students and encourage them to find out more information about the programs available and federal lab locations! Check out what programs are available at Oak Ridge National Lab, and ORISE.
