Spotlight – Stacie Waleyko

Stacie WaleykoStacie Waleyko is a junior working towards a double major in computer science and mathematics from Middletown, RI. She has an extensive experience in virtual 3D simulations through her work as an intern at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center. Building more than her programming skills, she has also worked on her design skills which gives her an advantage in 3D development.

Spotlight – Caitlyn Duggan

Caitlyn Duggan
Caitlyn Duggan is a fourth year student who started her computer science career by taking CSC101 as a math requirement. Finding the class both challenging and fun, she worked on getting her CS minor and eventually switched her major as she found her place within the department. Describing the department as more personal and intimate, she values the time and interaction she can easily get from the professors.

Emily Grote

Emily Grote is a Computer Science student who discovered her affinity for programming after taking CSC211, an Introductory course in programming. CSC 211, CSC 481 and CSC 436 are the classes Emily enjoyed most in the CS department because of the challenges and problem solving opportunities they provided.
