Minor in Computer Science

Students who wish to declare a minor in Computer Science must earn 24 credits including:

16 credits from the following required core courses:

  • CSC 106 – The Joy of Programming (4cr)
  • CSC 211 – Introductory Programming and Design (4cr)
  • CSC 212 – Data Structures and Abstractions (4cr)
  • CSC 301 – Fundamentals of Programming Languages (4cr)

Students must also complete 8 credits from elective courses:

  • Two other CSC courses at the 300 level or above (8cr)

In addition, students are expected to complete MTH 131 (3) or MTH 141 (4).
