When: March 17, 2012
Info: http://northeastlinuxfest.org

We are just about one month away from the 2nd annual Northeast GNU/Linuxfest. This event will bring together people from the linux world and the hardware world. We will feature speakers such as John Maddog Hall, Dru Lavigne, John Sullivan executive director from the Free Software Foundation just to name a few. As an added event we will have open street with an all day workshop. Also, we have included a hackerspace event this year. Hackerspaces from around the northeast will be competing for best design aimed at helping/assisting a disabled person. For those not familiar with a hackerspace, these folks are the same people who participate in a yearly/local Makerfaire. Last years event was held in NYC. We have made arrangements with the Worcester Marriott to offer linuxfest attendees to book rooms for a special low rate, if you plan to attend please reserve before February 17, 2012. We have a lot of exciting events and hope you can attend. Admission is free! The website again is http://northeastlinuxfest.org Take back control of your software, take back control of your computer!
