Rite-Solutions, Inc., located in Middletown RI, is seeking one or more qualified entry level Software Engineer positions to develop commercial and military applications. The engineer will be responsible for performing software development tasks under supervision of technical leadership. Tasks include participation in design reviews, software implementation to a design specification, performance of unit & module testing, participation in code reviews & requirements verification activities. The ideal candidate will possess an aptitude for critical thinking & good problem solving ability.
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong understanding of OOD & OOP principles
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Familiarity with all phases of the software life cycle
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Preferred experience & Skills
Experience or study in one or more of the following:
- Web Development – PHP/ Java Script /MySQL /CSS /HTML
- Microsoft Visual C/C++
- Eclipse
- UML
- Firebug
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required
