Principal Duties /Responsibilities:
Candidate must be able to analyze and solve problems, document actions taken, and effectively work with senior technical staff. Candidate is expected to participate in the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of various software engineering projects associated with development of Java-based Web Services implemented in a SOA environment. The development teams work in a fast paced environment and welcomes new technologies, processes, and tools in an effort to continually improve.
Work Experience and Knowledge:
Candidate must have a demonstrated knowledge of:
• Java, XML, OOD, UML, and version control software
Experience with any of the following will be considered favorably (in no order):
• Design Patterns, Web Services, WS Extensions, Java EE 5 (specifically JAX-WS, JAXB, JMS, EJB, JPA, SAAJ), SOA, SOAP, and SQL
Requires 0-2 years experience.
Educational Requirements:
- Requires BS/BA degree.
Unique/Additional Requirements:
US Government SECRET level security clearance required or be eligible to acquire a SECRET clearance.
